From amongst the stars of the Leicestershire Business Awards on Friday 8th April it was quality ready meal maker Saladworks (division of Samworth Brothers) which shone brightest, winning the prestigious title of Leicestershire Business of the Year 2011.  The award sponsored by Bray and Bray Solicitors, was a "tremendous recognition" said Managing Director, Jimmy Marks.

Saladworks employ 625 staff at their Leicester Forest East plant, producing high quality meals for Marks and Spencer, Waitrose, Tesco's and Morrison's.

The proud Managing Director, Jimmy further commented, "This is a fantastic honour for Saladworks. Product quality, customer service, innovation and continuous improvement are the pillars behind our success. However, the dedication, commitment and enthusiasm of our employees, is the real driving force behind the business."
