Tim Gladdle's Cycle Ride

Tim Gladdle, senior partner of Leicester law firm Bray & Bray last year completed the enormous challenge of cycling 360 miles from Leicester clock tower to the Eiffel tower in Paris to raise money for The Hope Foundation for Cancer Research which is a local charity. Tim was delighted to help the charity and managed to raise in excess of £6000 in sponsorship for which he would like to thank his clients, colleagues and friends.

Tim was not a keen cyclist until one evening early last year when he agreed to do the ride! He then began the challenging training schedule which would prepare him to complete the trip.

Tim was part of a group of 24 cyclists and completed the ride over 6 days.

Tim praised the charity saying:

"The event was superbly organised by David Wyrko and his magnificent team. All of us who took part in the ride enjoyed it immensely. This has been a once in a lifetime experience but the best thing about the ride is that together we raised over £60,000 for this terrific local charity which targets cancer research with money from Leicestershire for the people of Leicestershire".

Further donations to the Charity can be made to The Hope Foundation for Cancer Research, Castle View, Leicester.
