- Mental capacity issues (including Lasting Power of Attorney and Court of Protection)
- Care fee queries
- Assisting with assessments for Local Authority
- NHS funding
Elderly client law can involve sensitive matters and clients often have to face issues that people do not want to think about or deal with. Isobel believes that continually reviewing and keeping in contact with clients, means these difficult decisions become less transactional and more relationship based, which helps to alleviate stress for clients at often difficult times.
Isobel has a particular interest in community care law which involves dealing with local authorities and the NHS in respect of care fees and deprivation of liberty and elder abuse. These are causes which she champions in her role as the East Midlands Regional Director for SFE. SFE strive to ensure the highest possible standards in the industry and maintain focus on the client’s interests at all times.
